GetThatJob.Online (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. It applies to www.getthatjob.online and to the CV writing, career coaching and job application services we provide.

What we collect

Depending on which service you use, we may collect:

• Name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number.
• Your current resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile and career history.
• Target roles, industries and salary expectations you share with us.
• Correspondence between you and our recruiters or coaches.
• Payment details, processed by our third-party payment provider — we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

Why we collect it

We collect and use personal data only for purposes you would reasonably expect, including:

• Responding to enquiries and providing the consultation, coaching, CV writing or job application service you request.
• Tailoring resumes, cover letters and job applications to roles you're targeting.
• Processing payment and administering your account with us.
• Improving our services and following up on your experience with us.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for purposes beyond what you'd reasonably expect from a career services provider.

Consent

By submitting your details through our website or engaging our services, you consent to us collecting, using and disclosing your personal data as described in this policy. Where required by law, we will seek separate consent — for example, before submitting a job application on your behalf to a specific employer.

Disclosure to third parties

We disclose personal data only where necessary to deliver the service you've asked for:

• To employers or hiring managers, when you've asked us to apply for a specific role on your behalf.
• To our payment processor, to complete a transaction.
• Where required by law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as needed to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you return for further support or exercise your rights under the PDPA. You can request deletion at any time, subject to any legal or accounting record-keeping obligations we must meet.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
• Withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your data at any time.

Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to continue providing a service that depends on that data — for example, we can't tailor job applications without your resume. We'll explain any such impact if you make a withdrawal request.

Data protection officer

For any privacy question, access request, correction request or consent withdrawal, contact our Data Protection Officer at keith@getthatjob.online. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe, and no later than 30 days as required by the PDPA.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and administrative steps to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure or similar risks, including secure transmission of data submitted through our website.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are popular and how people found us. Google Analytics sets cookies that collect aggregated, anonymised usage data; we do not use this data to identify you individually, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
