SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme to cover about 140 more courses for mid-career workers from 1 December
· Keith Kwai
From 1 December, about 140 more courses will come under the SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme, the Skills and Workforce Development Agency said on 28 October: roughly 80 full Workforce Skills Qualifications and 60 courses backed by sector agencies, in areas such as financial services, infocomm technology, and maritime and offshore. All of them can be paid for with the S$4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) for Singaporeans aged 40 and above, and Acting Manpower Minister Jasmin Lau said that as at 30 June about 80,000 people had used that credit and more than 11,000 had received the mid-career training allowance.
