· Keith Kwai
NTUC deputy secretary-general Desmond Choo said on 23 October that close to 240 migrant workers in the process sector have not been paid for up to two months, in alleged salary issues involving Process Maintenance Solutions and Jurong Technical & Construction. The Migrant Workers’ Centre and MOM’s Assurance, Care and Engagement Group met 230 of the workers on 19 and 20 October and are providing support, including daily meals for close to 90 of them.
For workers owed wages, WorkRightSG, a sister site, explains how salary claims are handled at TADM.
