Business associations, schools and manpower groups told The Straits Times that employers still want to hire fresh graduates, but now expect them to use AI tools while reviewing the output for accuracy and applying their own judgment. They pointed to internships, apprenticeships and longer workplace attachments, such as year-long internships and SIT’s new 2+2 degree model, as ways for young people to build that experience early.
