The Employment Claims Tribunal has made 17 of its judgments public in 2026, the first it has released since it was set up in 2017, covering issues such as probation dismissals, re-employment, constructive dismissal and maternity protections. Lawyers told The Straits Times the rulings help both sides understand how the tripartite guidelines are applied, and NTUC figures show the disputes TADM handled for union members rose from 3,031 in 2021 to 4,396 in 2025.
