SG Jobs News: UOB plans to hire 1,000 fresh graduates over the next year despite AI concerns

UOB said on 8 October it expects to take on 1,000 young graduates over the next 12 months, mainly in permanent personal financial services and anti-money laundering roles and through its graduate and internship programmes. The bank will also train 5,500 managers for an AI-enabled workplace by end-2027 and widen its Gig+U scheme for flexible and part-time work.
