How Long Should a Resume Be in Singapore?

The real rule isn’t one page or two — it’s how much of each page earns its place.
As a rough guide, early-career candidates fit comfortably on one page and mid-to-senior candidates with 8 or more years usually need two. What pushes a resume to a third page is almost never seniority — it’s roles from 15 years ago that no longer need bullet-point detail, or duties repeated across similar jobs.
Cut by relevance, not by chronology. Your most recent and most relevant roles get full detail; older or tangential roles can shrink to a single line with just title, company, and dates.
