Speaking at the first SNEF Employers’ Summit on 30 October, Acting Manpower Minister Jasmin Lau launched PATH (People-centred AI Transformation for HR), a playbook combining AI starter kits for selected HR tasks with training to build AI skills among HR professionals. She said no one can reliably predict how many jobs AI will displace, urged employers to consider training existing staff for new roles before hiring, and said MOM is reviewing its schemes to give stronger support to graduates and retrenched mid-career workers.
