SG Jobs News: Two in three on SkillsFuture Jobseeker Support found new jobs within six months, MOM says

In a written parliamentary reply dated 7 October, MOM said the SkillsFuture Jobseeker Support scheme, which gives temporary payouts to people who lose their jobs involuntarily while they search for work, had helped 5,700 jobseekers by the end of July 2026. Of these, 66.5% landed a new role within six months of joining, and beneficiaries took about four months on average to secure a job. MOM said it is still too early to judge the scheme’s impact and is comparing outcomes with similar jobseekers who did not receive the payouts.
