Senior re-employment grant runs to end-2027; support for workers in their 50s under review

Asked about lowering the grant’s eligibility age from 60 to 50, MOM said the Part-Time Re-employment Grant has supported more than 66,000 senior workers and 7,600 employers since 2020 and has been extended to end-2027. It pointed to the Tripartite Workgroup on Senior Employment, which is reviewing support for workers aged 50 to 60 and will publish recommendations later this year.
